The oldest and most prestigious Women's Championship in the state took center stage at Hammock Dunes Club.
One-hundred and forty-four players began a quest for the 92nd Women's Amateur Championship.
Players began the championship, battling for one of 64 spots in match play with 36 holes of stroke play on the Creek and Links Course
There was an eight-person playoff for the final two spots in the Round of 64. Sisters, Brooke and Taylor Oberparleiter, were the two players to advance through the playoff.
Five of the top-10 seeded players remain following the Round of 32 on the Creek Course.
Highlighting the field heading into Round of 16 is reigning Player of the Year, Karoline Tuttle and 2019 Women’s Amateur Stroke Play champion, Kendall Griffin.
The fieldwas whittled down to four players after the Round of 16 and Quarterfinal matches.
Kendall Griffin will take on Carla Alavarez Perez in for a spot in the Final, while Bianco Sol Cruz and Elle Nachmann will face each other in the morning.
The final morning of the championship saw players battling it out for a spot in the Finals.
Kendall Griffin faced off against Elle Nachmann in a hard-fought Final match.
She took down Elle Nachmann, 2 and 1, to capture the championship. Griffin became a three-time FSGA champion with this Women’s Amateur victory, having captured the Girls’ Junior title in 2013 and the Women’s Amateur Stroke Play Championship in 2019.
"It really, really means a lot. I'm very honored to be another champion of this event."
Griffin raised the trophy with her parents in attendance, winning a special gift for her dad this Father’s Day.
"Having Lauren Miller on the bag, since my second match, really helped me to stay present. She is someone that I really love a lot and she knows me really well."
